Collaborative project with Ellie Griffiths from Oily Cart theatre productions.

To celebrate Women’s Day, we asked some inspiring women about success – how they define it, what they are proud of, what challenges they face as women in their field & one thing they want. We asked them to be brutally honest. Our conversations highlighted the diversity of women’s experiences & desires & their extraordinary lives. It also exposed some common challenges. Some interviews and photos were taken via online calls due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Her want: I want “to raise the kind of men we would want to be with”
Quote: In my field "there are now more women making decisions and part of decision making processes, but we’re still nowhere near equal representation. There’s an awful lot still to be done”

Theo - former international development adviser

Her want: “I want justice! Happiness! Solidarity! For all of us”
Quote: “The challenge is that people constantly underestimate women”
